Early Childhood Education Department Objectives

ECE OBJECTIVES

1. To inculcate in the child the founders core values of love, fidelity ,integrity and wisdom.
2. To form desirable attitudes and habits that are geared towards personal growth in independence and responsibility.
3. To cultivate the virtues of honesty, simplicity and generosity leading to sensitivity to the needs of others.
4. To promote the mastery of necessary knowledge and skills needed in the next level of basic education.
5. To discover and further develop the child’s potentials and capabilities through a variety of carefully selected and meaningful experiences in the context of his level and interest.
6. To form work habits of independence, neatness, orderliness and individual responsibility.
7. To instill good health habits and hygiene.
8. To instill aesthetic sense and creative expression, respect and appreciation for Filipino and Chinese cultures and tradition.
9. To promote growth in appreciation of God’s creation.
10. To encourage mastery of the basic concepts numbers, shapes, sizes, letters, sounds and vocabulary.
11. To teach the basic skills in reading and writing.
12. To promote the development of good control of small and big muscles and coordination of movements.
13. To encourage the development of the ability to observe, think, classify, plan, and make choices necessary to meet the challenges of the first grade.

Elementary Department Objectives

  1. To strengthen the founders’ core values of love, fidelity, integrity, and wisdom
  2. To encourage growth in the habit of personal prayer and appreciation of spiritual things- world practices and activities
  3. To nourish the virtues of honesty, simplicity, generosity and sensitivity to the needs of others
  4. To provide the basic skills and attitudes for the pupil’s personal growth and development like:
    1. self-discipline
    2. quest for academic excellence
    3. logical and critical thinking
  5. To instill awareness of the present condition of the country through active involvement in civic, social, cultural, and physical activities in and out the school community
  6. To encourage self-knowledge and self-confidence through group activities and other learning experiences
  7. To teach acceptance of one’s uniqueness, talents, abilities, and limitations
  8. To promote teamwork, sense of responsibility and concern for the common good
  9. To instill deeper appreciation and care for the environment
  10. To teach the necessary skills and knowledge needed for the secondary course such as:
    1. effective communications in English, Filipino, and Chinese language;
    2. logical reasoning and critical thinking through Math and Science;
    3. love and respect for the Filipino and Chinese cultures, communitarian spirit and universal brotherhood through Civics and culture;
    4. aesthetic sense and creativity in self-expression and work activities through Music and Arts;
    5. psychomotor skills and sportsmanship through Physical Education;
    6. right attitudes and good health habits;
    7. concentration, logical and critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving;
    8. the habit of inquiry and verification of the truth in facts and concepts given through research for investigative procedures;
    9. discovery of one’s won learning styles to maximize potentials; and
    10. advance application of computer technology.

High School Department Objectives

  1. To develop wholesome and integrated personalities that manifest the founders’ core values of love, fidelity, integrity and wisdom
  2. To promote a deep relationship with Christ, making His values the criteria for life choices and daily conduct
  3. To promote value and respect for the Filipino and Chinese socio-cultural heritage
  4. To strengthen love and appreciation for family
  5. To show the right use of freedom, sense of responsibility and initiative
  6. To develop students’ capacity for greater involvement and appreciation of the environment as responsible stewards of God’s creation
  7. To develop skills morally, interests and values in students to prepare them to become responsible and productive citizens and agents of transformation and nation-building in a competitive world by:
    1. providing awareness of self-reliance and service to others;
    2. providing meaningful programs that would promote aesthetic values and creativity;
    3. promoting habits of intellectual concentration, critical judgment and right use of responsibility.
  8. To encourage competencies necessary for college courses by:
    1. intensifying effective communication skills
    2. providing more programs that are geared towards critical thinking and analytical reasoning
    3. developing technologically advanced computer skills
    4. developing the skills, knowledge, and work ethics essential for making intelligent concrete decisions.
  9. To encourage self direction, commitment, generosity, and sacrifice for the sake of the common good
