Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS)

 This strand provides the learners:
    1. avenue to cultivate and nourish the core values of school which are service, excellence, love and faith (SELF).
    2. leadership positions in their particular disciplines by assisting them to   develop the abilty to think analytically and critically;
    3. trainings and opportunities to become catalysts of change, responsible and  productive citizens, and servant-leaders in their communities;
    4. knowledge, skills, and values preparing them to become artists, speakers,   writers, journalists, reporters, judges, pastoral, counselors, attorneys, historians, sociologists, politicians, musicians, educators, researchers, and priests or nuns;
    5. understanding of their cultural heritage , customs and traditions, as   reflected in the humanities and social sciences;  
    6. appreciation of human values and social traits necessary for a wholesome and abundant life in local community, national and in world arena; and 
    7. journalistic and creative writing/ “malikhaing pagsulat” skills as their additional skills and competencies.
